Description Holiday Lights strings rows of bulbs around the edges of your screen, and plays festive music in the background (see screen shot). The colorful lights flash on your desktop while you continue to work, so it's not just a screensaver. You can choose from more than 40 different bulbs suitable for any season, including standard Christmas tree lights, chili peppers, stockings, holly, snowmen, happy faces, Valentine's Day hearts, Thanksgiving turkeys, Halloween jack-o'-lanterns, and more. Over 30 songs are provided, and you can easily add more music by downloading free MIDI files. Holiday Lights even includes a screensaver with gently falling snow to put you in the holiday spirit. This update added six new screensaver animations. You can also create your own bulbs from animated GIF files, or download bulbs from the developer's Web site. Some bulbs are not available until the program is registered. The cost to register is $19.95.
